	Item #L7 Urie Mandle Sword Chatelaine Brooch(es) This is a Urie Mandle Pin. The patent from Jim Katz site shows this number-146950 applied for by Murray Slater in 1947. This pin follows exactly the drawings from the patent, including the two edges, one either side half way down the scabbard, and the thin piece at the top to hold in the sword. This is a Chatelaine Sword Brooch with Removable Sword from Scabbard. Black Enamel Scabbard with aqua cabs, clear rhinestones, beaded rope around rhinestones, top of scabbard has dome cab in amethyst. twisted rope holds double chain of sword. Handle of sword has two domed cabs, one in teal one in rose at end of rhinestones. Hilt has fleur de lis design with band of rhinestones and open amethyst oval stone. Closed measures 4" by 5/8". 	Item #L6 Schreiner, New York White Artglass, Moonstone, and Flower Brooch This fabulous Schreiner brooch has a wonderful domed type frame with amethyst stones, moonstones, mottled white/copper stones, and wire-over flowers with clear chatons in an amethyst color. This domed brooch measures 2 1/2" by 1" high. On the back of this brooch, you can see the etched number '14', most likely by the person setting the stones in this incredible piece. All Prong set, Schreiner was started in 1930 by a German immigrant named Henry Schreiner. It was in business until his death in 1954, when his daughter Terry and her husband Ambros Albert until 1970. Many Schreiner pieces were made for the fashion designers, including Adele Simpson, Pauline Trigere, Norman Norelle, Teal Traina, and Christian Dior. The name was never used on these pieces. On the jewelry, plaques can be seen on the back with the Schreiner New York name, and they are well made, hand set prong set stones, many of them using unusual art glass stones. 	Item #L17 LN/25 Flower Brooch This is a large brooch, measuring 3 1/8" x 2 5/8" wide, with two faux pearls between the scrollwork stems, and two red chatons for the centers of the flowers. This is a beautiful clear crystal and Aurora Borealis Flower brooch, confirmed by the Discovering Juliana Jewelry Group. This 3 3/8" long by 1 1/8"flower diameter is set with prong set crystal stones around the perimeter of the flower with a prong set collet holding an AB stone. The back shows the eyelet construction and puddling consistent with D&E quality manufacturing of the 1950'-60's. The pin back is soldered on with a safety catch. All stones are open backed. The curved stem is set with prong set crystal chatons, and half way up the curve is an open backed crystal in a pear shape, with an ab chaton on the other. Large prong set unfoiled open backed green oval stone. Three Olivine chatons at very top, small clear chaton chain around emerald stone. smaller olivine chatons one side of stem, 4 prong set navettes in Olivine open backed not foiled, wire over from back holds square of clear chatons, end of wire holds prong set ab. Stem is clear chatons. This shows the correct pin stem construction. Open backed unfoiled setting for emerald stone is correct. Figure 8-puddling, rivet holding ab stone and wire over which holds clear crystal chatons consistent with DeLizza and Elster contruction and design. Navettes show correct setting. The brooch measures 2 3/4" tall by 2 7/8" wide by 3/4" deep. The brooch consists of large prong set chatons and marquis stones with smaller rs chatons, and 3 wonderful ribbons of pave set chatons over top of the brooch giving it dimension and depth only as Eisenberg could do. Confirmed by the Discovering Juliana Jewelry Group, this 2" diameter by 3/4" high dome brooch shows an unfoiled open backed amethyst stone, with a huge watermelon stone, foil backed, that measures 3/4" diameter. The other fabulous addition is a margarite rivoli stone with a clear chaton center! sprinkled around these three large center stones are hot pink and amethyst and fuschia and ab chatons. This confirmed Juliana brooch measures 2 3/4" pinwheel brooch is full of large frosted kite stones that measure 3/4" long! The center has five prong set AB stones in cups surrounded by spirals of ab chatons ending in a larger clear glass chaton. The back shows the typical rivets and framework consistent with D&E construction. The kite stones are layered and the pinstem is a three part soldered and attached as with all D&E construction.
